The conference opening day will take place at the Leibniz University Hannover, and the rest of the event will be hosted at the Hannover Congress Centre.
Leibniz University Hannover
Founded on May 2, 1831, Leibniz University Hannover is one of the largest and oldest science and technology universities in Germany. The University offers a broad spectrum of subjects, ranging from engineering and natural sciences to architecture and environmental planning, from law and economics to social sciences and humanities.
The main building of the university, where the opening conference day will be held, is the Royal Palace Welfenschloss at the Welfengarten. The palace has been the centre of what is now Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität since 1879, and was first designed as the seat of the Kingdom of Hannover.
Hannover Congress Centre
The venue for the rest of the conference week is the Hannover Congress Centre. True to the motto "Tradition and Innovation" the Hannover Congress Centre combines historic atmosphere with modern facilities under one roof. The historic “Stadthalle”, more than 100 years old, with its historic Kuppelsaal and large festival rooms, is supplemented by a range of spacious functional halls and more than 30 conference and seminar rooms.
