Please note that there are two different venues for the conference. The opening (Monday) will take place at the Leibniz University Hannover, and the rest of the event (Tuesday through Friday) will be hosted at the Hannover Congress Centre.

Arriving in Hannover
If you are arriving from within Europe, we recommend travelling by train to reduce your carbon footprint.
Hannover has an international airport, so direct flights into Hannover are possible. If you are flying to one of the other international airports nearby (Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Berlin), we recommend taking a train from there to Hannover.

The main building of Leibniz University Hannover is located close to the city centre at “Georgengarten” – one of the most popular destinations in Hannover. You can easily reach the main building by bus or city railway.

The Congress Center can be reached by public transport.
From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) you can take the bus line 128 or 134 in direction Peiner Straße directly to Hannover Congress Centrum. The duration of the trip is ca. 10 minutes.
From station Kröpcke you can take the city train (Stadtbahn) Line 11 (Zoo) to Hannover Congress Centrum. Duration of the trip is also ca. 10 minutes.
Getting around in Hannover by public transport
Üstra Service Centre City
At the üstra Service Centre City on the Platz der Weltausstellung you can buy tickets for the local bus, tram and railway network, timetables in book form, personal timetables and timetables for particular stops. Or ask about individual information on how to get from one place to another, using any type of public transport. Here you will also receive advice on any issue relating to environment-friendly mobility.

Ticket Information
Tickets are valid up to one day. The GVH (Greater Hannover transport network) tariff area is divided into three ticket zones: "Hannover Stadt" (city), "Umland" (surrounding area) and "Region". The price of a journey with a single ticket depends on the number of zones you travel in.
