CO2 compensation ​

The Conference Organising Committee is aware that this international conference affects CO2 emissions. As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we are offering participants the option to make a voluntary donation to the Keystone Foundation through our registration program as part of our CO2 compensation program. This program aims to offset our communal CO2 emissions at least to a certain extent.

The Keystone Foundation is a non-profit organization based in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in India. It focuses on eco-development initiatives that support indigenous communities and promote sustainable livelihoods. Their work covers areas like biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, forest-based enterprises, and environmental governance. Keystone emphasizes collaboration with local communities and combines traditional knowledge with scientific approaches to address ecological and social challenges.

Through this collective effort, participants can help reduce the environmental impact of the conference and support meaningful grassroots action in the region.
