Support a local programme

At every ESP Conference, we ask participants to help us raise funds for a local organisation working on sustainability in the region where the conference is held as part of our CO2 compensation programme. The aim of this programme is to compensate the communal CO2 emissions that are created by travelling to the conference. This year there is the option to donate to NESEHNUTÍ. Donating will be possible through the registration form when registering for the conference.

NESEHNUTÍ

NESEHNUTÍ is an independent social and environmental movement. Their organisation recognises that there are many challenges of which the causes of social and environmental problems are intertwined. As such, NESEHNUTÍ recognises that the solutions to these problems are intertwined as well. 

NESEHNUTÍ aims to create a fair society, a thriving natural environment, sustainable urban development, animal welfare, and climate protection. They support communities, groups, and individuals in creating a just world through conducting civic campaigns, advocacy and direct action, awareness-raising, and education. 

Climate change and the most vulnerable groups

This remarkable project of NESEHNUTÍ focuses on senior citizens, educating them about climate change through interactive and dialogue-based workshops. They focus on how this vulnerable group can protect themselves against the effects of climate change, such as extreme weather, and how to rely on high-quality, scientific information in this area. In April 2026 alone, NESEHNUTÍ will hold four workshops on this topic in cooperation with SeniorPoints in Brno and the South Moravian Region. They are communicating with other interested parties and looking for dates. NESEHNUTÍ wants to continue to focus on this target group, activate them, and include them in the debate on possible solutions to climate change. Financial contributions will help NESEHNUTÍ cover the costs of promotional and facilitation materials
