Good to know

From the 18th until the 24th of May, there will be the Open House Festival in Prague, in which certain special buildings open their doors for the public. The Open House Festival has become a traditional architectural celebration, offering free access to explore the hidden gems of the city and enjoy the unique atmosphere of togetherness and excitement that comes with discovering new places. Open House is the largest global architectural event. Through tours of buildings and spaces normally closed to the public, it provides a direct experience of architecture and allows visitors to explore it in various contexts.

The festival will kick off on Monday, May 18, 2026, with a series of accompanying programs — including debates, lectures, guided tours, walks, exhibitions, and many other events. The celebration of architecture will culminate over the weekend of May 23—24, when normally inaccessible buildings and spaces across Prague will open to the public.

Playing Prague

Playing Prague is a game celebrating Prague and all those who have shaped and continue to shape this beautiful city. Every detail of the game is a tribute to the 1000-year cultural heritage of a city that was once the seat of the Holy Roman Emperors and the capital of the Bohemian Kingdom. It is also the origin of the designation of bohemians as people with a creative and unconventional way of life. Become a Bohemian for a while and build your own Prague.

Playing Prague was awarded the prestigious 2025 CEEGA (Central and Eastern European Game Awards), being crowned as the Best Mobile Game. It has become another Czech success story alongside Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk or Silent Hill 2.
