About ESP Asia Regional Office

The ESP Asia Regional Office was established in Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, with the active support of the Gyeonggi provincial government and Asian ESP members after the inaugural ESP Asian Regional Conference in 2016. The office is located near the DMZ (demilitarized zone between South and North Korea), which reflects the significance of "Nature for Peace" in cross-border areas.

About Ecosystem Services Partnership

The Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) is a global network that connects ecosystem services scientists, practitioners, stakeholders, and policymakers at local, national, regional, and global scales and on different topics. ESP aims to enhance communication, cooperation, and coordination, and to build a strong network of individuals and organisations working on ecosystem services.

The Partnership facilitates collaboration on ecosystem services-related topics via its biome, thematic and sectoral working groups. The community gathers regularly at global and regional conferences. Interested individuals and organisations can join the ESP community by becoming members.

Foundation for Sustainable Development

At the Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) we support the conservation and sustainable use of natural ecosystems since 2000. Through our three main programs – ESVD, ESP and Nature Today – we build knowledge and stimulate awareness of the ways in which people benefit from and interact with nature. We collaborate with local and international partners to establish new initiatives and projects, and actively participate in existing networks to advance our mission. Our expertise in nature conservation, biodiversity, global change, ecosystem management, and sustainable development goals allows us to provide valuable guidance on these critical issues, driving effective strategies and solutions that support a healthier, more sustainable future.
