The most common way to arrive is to first fly into one of Portugal’s main international airports:

Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro - OPO): closest to Aveiro (about 85 km)

Lisbon Airport (Humberto Delgado - LIS): farther away (about 250 km)

Step 1: Metro to Porto Campanhã Station

From the airport, take Metro Line E (Purple Line) to Campanhã Station.
