Business track

To strengthen science, policy, and business collaboration and uptake of ecosystem services, ESP now organises business tracks during its conferences.

This business track was organised on Thursday 18 October during the ESP EU conference. Business representatives were especially welcomed to share their ecosystem services experiences from practice, and to learn more about what ecosystem services means for their business and how to incorporate the concept in corporate action.

This one day event consisted of several events aimed at increasing business-science collaboration, knowledge exchange and corporate action. The business track is part of the ESP conference, and consisted of the following elements:

• Keynote speech focused on science & business interaction
• Session Operationalising Ecosystem Services for Business Action: Increasing Impact, Unlocking Opportunity and Driving Innovation. 
• Market place: to showcase your business or project at the market place, a market place was organised. You could reserve a stand for your business or project through the registration form. Upon registration you had to indicate the title of your stand and what the stand will showcase.
• Sponsorship: would you like to even further promote your organisation during the conference? ESP EU conference offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities to enlarge your visibility prior to and during the conference.

Scientists, policy-makers and business representatives were all invited to join the business track activities.
