The Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) is happy to announce that its third ESP Africa Regional conference will take place in Musanze, Rwanda, on 8-10 June 2022. The conference theme is 'Ecosystem services for the future: Delivering value for Nature, Livelihoods and Economic Investment'.

The third ESP Africa Regional Conference is part of the annual cycle of ESP regional conferences around the globe. The regional conferences follow our world conferences, of which the last world conference in Germany hosted more than 750 delegates from over 65 countries.
ESP conferences are open to both ESP members and non-members.

Registration

Registration for the conference is now open! Make sure to register in time and take advantage of the Early Bird fees. The Early Bird deadline was 17 May 2022, conference registration closes on 10 June 2022. Please check the registration page for more information and to register.

Call for abstracts

The call for abstracts is officially closed. The submission deadline was 15 April 2022. In case you missed the deadline or would like to submit a late abstract, please check the call for abstracts page for more information and to submit your abstract.
On the session overview page, you can find the overview of all accepted conference sessions. When you click the session title, the session description for that session will open.

Hybrid event

This conference will be held in a hybrid format - allowing for both in-person and digital participation. It will be held in-person at the Classic resort lodge in Musanze, Rwanda as well as online everywhere from 8-10 June 2022. Whether you will be able to travel to Rwanda or not, you can present your work in one of the accepted conference sessions.
